About us

From an early age I, Danny Hofman, was fascinated by the colorful world of flowers. In 2012 I came to help within the company. First in logistics, later in purchasing. As I got older, I started to see more and more what I could do differently. I saw opportunities. Kees always bought on a large scale, so everything was cheap. However, customers could not decide for themselves what they wanted to buy, because they were dependent on what Kees bought. I wanted to change that.

In 2019 I took over under the name PP Flowers. With the arrival of our webshop and smart links, our customers can now choose from our extensive range, but also purchase directly from other importers and growers. This way they can purchase small numbers of different flowers, completely tailored to their own wishes and still benefit from affordable purchase prices.

PP Flowers therefore originated from the Purmer Plantenhal BV. Although the old name was great for our plants, it didn't fully cover the load, because we are also very strong in flowers. That's why we added the English word "flowers" to our name, also because we serve more and more international customers.
